The Phase That Involves the Roofing Company: Up to a Week

Next, it’s time to contact a reputable roofing company. The roofers will not start the job right away. Before any work is done, a team will have to inspect the roof. This is done for two reasons. It helps the roofers determine the amount of work that needs to be done and the cost of the roof replacement.

Normally, the first phase of a roof replacement will be brief. However, you may have to wait a bit longer if you try to set up an appointment during hurricane season. This is the busiest time for all roofing companies in Texas and other southern states.

The Roof Replacement: Up to Two Days

A roof replacement can be done within a day if a team begins the job before noon. If this is not the case, the project can be completed in under 48 hours.

When the job begins, the roofers will climb on the roof, and they will tear all of the old shingles off the foundation. This part of the job will last for a few hours. If the decking on the roof is rotten, it will be replaced after all of the old shingles have been removed. Afterward, the roofers will place the new shingles on the roof, and when the job is complete, they will remove all of the debris off the property.
